Dental Implant

What is a Dental Implant?

A dental implant is a prosthetic device composed of titanium that is surgically inserted into the jawbone to serve as a replacement for a missing tooth root. A titanium root serves as a foundation for a replacement tooth or bridge.

Replace Missing Teeth with Dental Implants

There are several treatment options available for replacing missing teeth, including dentures, dental bridges, and dental implants. Dental implants are a highly recommended and long-term solution for tooth loss.

One of the key advantages of dental implants is that they closely resemble natural teeth in both appearance and function. With dental implants, you can smile, chew, and speak confidently without any hesitation.

Furthermore, dental implants are easy to maintain and care for. You can simply brush and care for them in the same way you would for your natural teeth.

Overall, dental implants provide a professional and effective solution for replacing missing teeth, offering both aesthetic and functional benefits.

Tooth Implants Technologies

Technological advancements in dental implant equipment, materials, and techniques have greatly improved the speed, safety, and comfort of dental implant treatments. At Chiangmai dental implants clinic, we utilize state-of-the-art digitalized technologies and machines, including:

Our 3D CT digital scan technology provides high-resolution imaging of the jaw bone's height and weight, enabling more accurate diagnoses during dental implant treatments. This technology significantly enhances patient safety by ensuring proper and precise implant surgical placement.

Additionally, we employ computer-guided implant surgery for our dental implant treatments. This innovative software program combines oral scans and images to determine the optimal position and direction for dental implant placements. By highlighting any potential margin of errors, our software enables dentists to pre-plan the placement of dental implants with precision and accuracy.

What is the duration of the treatment for Implants?

The dental implant procedure typically requires a minimum of 6-8 months to complete. The timeframe for each patient's implant treatment may vary due to individual healing capacity. Following successful surgical placement of the implants, it can take up to six months for the implant post and jaw bone to fully integrate. Once the healing process is complete, replacement teeth are attached to the implant post. In select cases where the bone is in good condition, the entire implant treatment can be completed within two months. Patients with good oral health and bone quality may even have the implant prosthesis (such as a crown, bridge, or dentures) fitted immediately after the implant post placement.

Best Solution for Traveler

International guests can commence their treatment in as little as three weeks, without the need for monthly check-ups. The treatment plan can be approved conveniently via email.
